This two DVD set of the Festival of Shavuot, presented by both Joseph and Debbie Good, discusses the Festival from numerous different aspects. The first Shavuot occurred as the Children of Israel came out of Egypt and arrived at Mount Sinai. It was on this day that Hashem gave the Torah, founded the kingdom of Israel and established His Congregation. Also, on the first Shavuot Hashem betrothed Himself to Israel. During Shavuot elaborate ceremonies were conducted in the Temple. These ceremonies were focused on the beginning of the wheat harvest. These ancient, as well as modern ceremonies and services are discussed with many new insights. In addition, Debbie presents ideas and crafts to incorporate into your home observance.
