A major theme of Rosh haShanah is the coming coronation of the Messiah. Again, this event is understood to occur on Yom haDin (the Day of Judgment). Accompanying Messiah’s coronation will be His wedding. Volume Five studies the coronation ritual of a Jewish king, with an examination of the Coronation Psalms. An amazing aspect of these Psalms is numerous references to the resurrection of the righteous dead and the gathering of the righteous living. Special reference is made to Psalm 45, where in addition to the Messiah’s coronation, His wedding is presented on the same day. A brief study of the ancient Jewish wedding ceremony reveals a key to unravel much of the confusion surrounding the timing of the Gathering.
